Wait And See
Just wait and see
And it’ll be
Different from yesterday
The clouds that swell so menacing
Will glow where once was grey.
Just wait and see
And you’ll understand
That this won’t be forever
Fear likes to threaten permanency
But there won’t ever be a ‘never’.
Just wait and see
And believe in me
When I tell you things will change
To feel is to be alive
And although you think it strange:
I know the nights get lonely
All wrapped up in your head
And the thoughts get all the louder
When wrapped up in your bed.
Rain might tap the window
But don’t invite him in
But instead
Just wait and see.
It’ll be alright.
